Paraffin Wax
Paraffin wax is a mixture of hydrocarbons extracted from some distillates of petroleum, shale oil, or other bituminous mineral oils. Paraffin wax is amorphous, but has obvious crystal structure. There are also artificial paraffin wax.
Paraffin wax is a kind of petroleum processing products, is a kind of mineral wax, is also a kind of petroleum wax. It is obtained from the lubricating oil distillate obtained by crude oil distillation through solvent refining, solvent dewaxing or wax freezing crystallization, pressing dewaxing to make wax paste, and then solvent deoiling, refined flake or needle crystallization. Used for making fatty acids, alcohols, matches, candles, waterproof agents, ointment, electrical insulation materials.
